Where are you guys located?
Outer Banks Massage Therapy opened in 2010 and had been located in the Tim Buck ll shopping center in Corolla, NC.
Since the end of 2021, we have let go of our brick and mortar and have become solely an in home massage business.
What Do We Need To Know For You To Schedule An Appointment?
Becoming a travel massage business, our services have become more personal and truly catered to our clients. We do need a quite a bit of info prior to booking which we’d love to do during your booking so that day of, your sessions go exactly as planned. Here is some info we will need to confirm prior to booking.
How long the massage therapist will be booked
(Minimum of 3 hours – Maximum of 6 hours in 1 day per therapist)
How long of a massage each person would like?
How many massages you will be booking?
What day and time would you like?
If anyone is pregnant, under the age of 18, Or if anyone has any major medical health history where they might need more assistance or attention for their session.
We will also need to know the physical street address of where you are staying to determine if it’s within our travel range.
Lastly, we require a credit card to put on file in order to place the appointment in our schedule for our 48 hour cancellation policy.
What Time Should I Expect You For An In Home Massage?
Our therapists will arrive approximately 15 minutes ahead of your appointment time in order to set up. We bring everything from music, tables, sheets, etc. Our therapists will need an open area to work, one at least large enough to fit a queen sized bed. This area will need to be cleared before our therapists arrive or it will be cut out from the clients’ sessions. Our therapists only set-up one time, if they are needed to be moved it will be cut out from the clients’ sessions. The setup may be inside or outside weather permitting. The therapists have the right to object to any set-up based on their comfort, in order to give you the highest quality massages.
Are There Any Limitations To Booking An In Home Massage?
Yes, a minimum number of people may be required per therapist to book an appointment. This number will depend on what time of year it is and how many therapists we have staffed. Expect higher minimums in the summer months.
What Areas Do You Travel To For In Home Massages?
Our therapists are happy to serve the following areas: Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores, Duck, Corolla, Colington and Corolla throughout the year, some exceptions do apply. We do have some restrictions on houses located on Old Oregon Inlet Road in Nags Head and the Carova 4×4 beach, booked services need to be 4-6 hours.
What is your Cancelation Policy?
Our Cancellation Policy states that you have up until 48 hours before your appointment to make changes. If changes are made to shorten your session times or cancel your appointment with us within 48 hours, or if you do not show up for your appointment, we will consider this a “no show” and reserve the right to charge your credit card for the full amount of the scheduled services unless the appointments slots are filled by another client. Outer Banks Massage Therapy accepts Cash and Major Credit Cards.
